Woordscores | Post Carousel & list, a WordPress Plugin by Rowmack

Give Your Category Pages a Visual Makeover

Standard WordPress category archives can be dull: often just an endless text list or a basic grid that doesn’t invite visitors to keep reading.

With the Post Carousel & List plugin, you transform every boring list into an engaging, interactive experience. The plugin combines the best of both worlds:

  1. Grab Attention: The most recent posts appear in a beautiful, touch-friendly carousel. This puts your latest content directly in the spotlight.
  2. Stay Organized: All older posts appear immediately below the carousel in a clean, easy-to-scan list.
  3. Speed & Flow: Thanks to the smart AJAX ‘Load More’ button, visitors can browse through your entire archive without the page ever needing to reload.

Whether you have a news section, a blog overview, or a portfolio: this plugin automatically adapts to the width of your website (responsive) and looks just as good on mobile as it does on desktop.

Unique Feature: Dynamic Menu Links (Set & Forget)

This is a feature users love. Do you want a button in your main menu like “Latest News” or “Current Edition” that always links directly to your absolute latest post?

Normally, you would have to manually update that link every time you publish something new. With this plugin, that’s a thing of the past. Simply use a shortcode in your menu settings. The plugin automatically detects your newest post and updates the link for you. Set and forget!

Why Upgrade to Pro?

The free version gives you all the tools to create a beautiful display using shortcodes and global settings. However, if you want full control and automation, the Pro version is worth the investment.

With Post Carousel & List PRO, you get:

  • The Shortcode Generator: No more typing code manually. Simply click your preferences (Which category? How many posts? Arrows or dots?) and the generator builds the code for you.
  • Auto-Injection Rules: Do you want the carousel to appear automatically below every news article, but not under your blog posts? With Pro, you set smart rules. The plugin places the carousels exactly where they need to be.
  • No Technical Skills Required: Manage everything visually directly from your dashboard.

Save time, automate your layout, and give your visitors the best possible navigation experience.

A lightweight, fully customizable Scroll to Top button featuring a unique SVG “cut-out” transparency effect.

== Description ==

Custom Scroll To Top is not just another scroll button. It offers advanced styling options that allow for unique design implementations, specifically the ability to create “cut-out” icons.

**Key Features:**

* **Custom Colors & Transparency:** Set colors for the background, border, and icon independently. Crucially, you can set the opacity (transparency) for each element.
* **Cut-Out Effect:** By setting the Icon Opacity to 0%, you can create a “hole” in the button, allowing the website background to show through the arrow shape.
* **Hover States:** Define completely different colors and transparencies for the hover state.
* **Positioning:** Choose to display the button on the **Bottom Right** or **Bottom Left** of the screen.
* **Shape:** Switch between a round (circle) or square button.
* **High Visibility:** Uses aggressive Z-Index settings to ensure the button sits above elements like Revolution Slider or other heavy overlays.
* **Lightweight:** No heavy frameworks, just pure vanilla JavaScript and CSS.

**How the Cut-Out works:**
The SVG is constructed as a “puzzle”. The body path has the arrow shape excluded from it. The arrow path fits exactly into that empty space. This allows you to style the arrow and the body with independent opacity levels.

== Installation ==
